Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Specialists

Our award-winning Interior Design firm is looking for competent Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Specialists to join our accounting team! These roles will work closely with the Assistant Controller and other accounting team members to ensure accuracy in company accounting practices.

JOB DETAILS

Accounts Payable

  • Full accounts payable processing cycle including ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
  • Resolve purchase orders, contracts, invoices, or payment discrepancies and documentation.
  • Review invoices and check requests and obtain appropriate approvals.

Accounts Receivable

  • Create invoices according to company guidelines and promptly submit invoices to clients.
  • Effectively collaborate with the interior design team to ensure accurate and timely billing.
  • Personably communicate with clients regarding invoicing and collections.
  • Record and allocate payments to the appropriate client accounts.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven at least two years of experience working in accounts payables and receivables.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent Microsoft suite skills.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to prioritize workload, track, and follow up with pending matters.
  • Must enjoy working in a fast-paced, small team environment and have strong communication skills.
  • A helpful team player, has a strong work ethic, and is naturally collaborative.
  • An interest in interior design is favorable but not necessary.
