RESOURCE LIBRARIAN

Interior Concepts is seeking a part-time Resource Librarian. The Resource Librarian will maintain the library and enhance design results through the following responsibilities.

What You Will Do:

Vendor Relations and Product Trends

  • Point of contact with all vendors that reach out and visit Interior Concepts. This includes: scheduling vendor presentations, events, appointments and communicating needs of design teams
  • Resource Librarian with arrange and schedule presentation of products by vendors in the library and communicate dates and times with the designers.

Library Maintenance

  • Maintain, catalog and organize an up to date Resource Library with stocked material and samples
  • Assist designers in locating materials and information
  • File new material
  • Ensure all materials that are borrowed from the library are returned and filed appropriately
  • Arrange for vendors to pick up samples/resources, if needed.
  • Coordinate with schools of Interior Design to pick up loose samples

Qualifications

  • 2+years’ experience in a professional services environment
  • Must be self-motivated and able to prioritize
  • Excellent communication skills and a hospitable disposition
  • Must be able to focus in a very fast-paced environment
  • Enthusiastic and capable team player interested in contributing, learning, and growing
  • Enthusiasm with interior design
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to lift 20+lbs

Other Duties

  • Receptionist duties, as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Education/Knowledge

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)
  • Interior Design Knowledge (Required)

Language:

  • English (Required)

  • United States (Required)
